sue 1 Posted August 16, 2008 Report Share Posted August 16, 2008 Well some of you know that i am soon to be a granny ,my daughter was given 5 th of september for her due date .4am this morning i received a phone call so up dressed and dashed round and off to hospital,sat there a few hours in the hospital in clothes i didnt realise i had put on was the clobber i had cleaned all the ferrets out in yesterday ,so on the average time it takes for babys to be born i thought i would dash home and change into something less perfumed ,as my daughters waters had broke just as we arrived at hospital i thought i would have had plenty of time but no they have sent her home so i presume it will most likely be another trip back later .so i have laid a clean set of clothes out ready ,and im just sat here waiting for the call Quote Link to post Share on other sites

McSparkie 0 Posted August 16, 2008 Report Share Posted August 16, 2008 When my good wife decided to pop our 2 she took milliseconds! 1st one took a couple (literally) of hours of labour (the spasms and suchlike, then about 7 minutes of the proper stuff (panting, pushing, breathing, repeat!) and out popped #1. #2 was even quicker! I will not admit to the speeds I hit on the M4 to get to the hospital on time, on a public forum. Suffice to say the chap that was imprisoned earlier this week for doing in excess of 130 on his bike would have felt he was going backwards! Fingers crossed for your lass having as easy as possible a time as can be had. Jeez! I'm welling up at the memory of holding my wee ones for the first times. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
