My first days beating of the season, was a good day, shot about 200 brace.

 

Weather was really bad, and even my deerhunter struggled to keep the water out. Some of the poor lads looked like they were suffering from hyperthermia.

 

My cocker Boozer did me proud, and found a few birds that had been missed by other dogs, he also picked up a huge hare off its seat :icon_redface: which was released unharmed.

 

Was canny tired as i drove away, but with 50 mole traps to check, the day was far from over! Now im chillin' ont comp like... good hunting all!!

DnN; a mate of mr bambra (dave) called at his yesterday first time i've been up in a while, in fact the last time i was up was when i called in from a fishing trip to kielder, i'm sure you were at his that day with scrump(reconised him in your gallery) and a liver and white spaniel if i remember rightly, any way he was telling me about nathan and new keeper jeff supposed to be going back up at weekend possibly staying the night. do you still live and work on the same shoot.

rubbish , we shot 777 brace on the second day , :tongue2: , im on the flank , red flag , big good looking b*****d with a caterpiller resting on me face , probably surrounded by loads of ladies, and wearing a very fetching estate suite, if your on this week , come and say hello

Yes, I remember you now! It was just funny hearing that Nathan was head keeper thats all!! :laugh:

I was single-handed on there,(Nathan was on the moor) but ive left there now, full time pesty now!! Must be nuts ey!! :crazy:
