andy s410c 61
Pissed me off hearing that my home city, Sunderland is beyond help....well to be told that of some Tory goverment agency F K YOU :wankerzo4: .I left in 1990 to join the Royal Navy as at the time i was being a dick getting into bother & generally being a arse.I came back to Sunderland in '96 with my missus who's a southener & i believe your home town/city & life is what you make it.I would,nt settle down south,it's to expensive,to busy & the beer is not to clever Just wait till it's a floodplain south of Watford in a few decades then it'll be a different story then
PeakOil 352
Lived in Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard & Totternhoe in Bedfordshire. Moved oop North and would never go back darn sarf for more than a week. The biggest advantage here is the roads are a lot less busy. I drive the same distance to work I used to now in 10-15 mins instead of an hour or an hour and a half in the South East. Traffic jams at half 7 am on a country road round here only if there is an accident. Not every morning and every night :wallbash: And the beer is nicer / cheaper

My sister moved down south, Uxbridge first and now Ailsbury and its fecking horrible. I've only visited Uxbridge and that was bad enough, I felt like a caged wild animal. The beer was bloody expensive and shite too. The landlord in her local was a Scouser though, they get bloody everywhere . The worst part is I can't understand my nephew.
