Pissed me off hearing that my home city, Sunderland is beyond help....well to be told that of some Tory goverment agency F :censored: K YOU :wankerzo4: .I left in 1990 to join the Royal Navy as at the time i was being a dick getting into bother & generally being a arse.I came back to Sunderland in '96 with my missus who's a southener & i believe your home town/city & life is what you make it.I would,nt settle down south,it's to expensive,to busy & the beer is not to clever :tongue2:

Just wait till it's a floodplain south of Watford in a few decades then it'll be a different story then :icon_eek:

Lived in Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard & Totternhoe in Bedfordshire. Moved oop North and would never go back darn sarf for more than a week. The biggest advantage here is the roads are a lot less busy. I drive the same distance to work I used to now in 10-15 mins instead of an hour or an hour and a half in the South East. Traffic jams at half 7 am on a country road round here only if there is an accident. Not every morning and every night :wallbash: :wallbash: And the beer is nicer / cheaper :big_boss:

Joe,you would be very surprised, you could go out local and lamp 30-40 roe,I even spoke to someone on here last week who was going to slip-their dogs(pre-ban)on a muntie running into Nick Faldo's garden :D

Whats the average 3 bed detached going for in Ashington LDR?

under £100 000 i'd imagine,

Feck me I could almost afford a mortgage round that way but i'd be fecked commuting here evry day :icon_eek:.

My sister moved down south, Uxbridge first and now Ailsbury and its fecking horrible. I've only visited Uxbridge and that was bad enough, I felt like a caged wild animal. The beer was bloody expensive and shite too. The landlord in her local was a Scouser though, they get bloody everywhere :whistling:. The worst part is I can't understand my nephew.

Uxbridge is just up the road Gnip, west london, quite a nice area to be honest,as for £100,000,I wish :o Its not all shoulder-to-shoulder down here,I live in the most heavily wooded county in England and its also the second best county in the UK for butterfly species, which would be fine if I was a lepidopterist, but I aint :D Lucky I still got some diving-kit in storage SL,got a spare room? :(

Theres a few Roe about.it was different in Sunderland,if someone spotted a roe in a woodland strip when I was a kid 10 different kids would have walked it the next day, here no-one really bats an eyelid even though a local shop had venison for some ridiculous price,£14 a kilo I think? :hmm:
