Its grim 'oop north!

Recommended Posts

Agree or disagree,I saw a news report earlier about my old home town, beyond redemption? All my siblings are in the south-east barring one,and even she lived in Hampshire for a few years, bought a nice detached in Fleet, moved back north and now living in a very down-trodden part of Durham

I have a good friend in Sunderland,he has two teenage sons, they have both had to move south for employment,I live in Surrey now, good neighbourhood in all honesty, but I remember when I lived in Sundelrand as a kid the amount of burglars and car thieves in the place I lived was scary, dont get me wrong, loads of fond memories of the north, but my quality of living is just better in the south.
