Its up to you a small shed with a run is more than suffice as long as you make it chew proof. The ESS is the best gundog and relatively easy due to its soft temp. The most important thing is socialisation with other dogs ...plenty of noise round the dog occassionaly dropping yer feed bowl to get it it used to noise...if its to stay indoors buy a puppy crate for bedtime big enough for growing and paper on the inside of it so its got somewhere to do its business..Spend time with it bond with it play with tennis ball ...never leave it with toys in the crate ovenight and buy or go the lLIBARY ...IRVINGS BOOK ON TRAINING just basic common sense and patience...AND YOU WONT GO WRONG..Theres enough gundog sites and people on here willpoint you on the right way..

Good Luck
