I had a terrier bitch i named lotty and the mate was talking about the terrier with a lad we used to hunt with and the other lad said " lotty ??? I thought it was called laddie!!! I always wondered why he called that bitch laddie" dont complicate it, use something simple

somthing that snaps off the tounge ,nothing too long i find best. is it dog or bitch

 

 

Hes a dog.. Its hard to finda name that snaps, sombody hasnt got or that you dont sound a bit of a soft lad when out working..

 

I have banned the missus from the naming process ..

 

 

best not to stress mate it will come .it always does for me when you least expect it.

oh and i let my son name my first lurcher .and worked well .

Something with 2 syllables that can be shortened to one. Mine also has a longer version "comeereyoulittleshit" which i find is usually used at full volume as she vanishes over the horizon!
