Smudge00 0
Just applied for another 22lr had my dads anschtuz semi on my ticket for 6 years but gave up using it, crap trigger and grouped like a shotgun and found my .17hmr to be too loud for lamping after a wile the rabbits get a bit weary. I'm torn between 3 all bolt action Anschutz, CZ or sako. The latter I know all about as thats what I got my 17 in and like it but could someone fill me in on the other two. Accuracy, trigger and anything else helpfull? Thanks Smudge Quote Link to post
cbw 4
Hi, I have the Anschutz 1712 sporter heavy barrel, 2 stage trigger and the monte carlo stock. Obviously I like this rifle, find it really accurate and lovely to use, but have nothing to compare it with and with the ase mod and zeiss scope it did break the bank rather!!! See picture in the rifle section. I am in the Newmarket area and if your local your more than welcome to have a snout! CBW Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
i would go to the gunshop mate and have a good hold of them all and see which you like the best. i have a cz style 22lr and i fitted the brooks trigger kit and now the trigger is sweet the blot is a little stiff but soon wears in with use. over all a soild rifle and the accuracy is spot on at 60 yards its just ragged hole groups with eley ammo. i would have the cz and the money saved could get you a nice scope and ammo to. but if you do want to spend more then get the annie. i have the annie in hmr and its wicked. the bolt on the annie is super smooth a joy to use. the trigger is the best of any rimfire i think anyway it is single stage but is fully adjustble for wight and pull. mine breaks like glass no creep and you no evertime you use it it stays like it so there is no pulling the shots. the 22lr annie is 14 inch barrel to so nice and compact. the annie is the best rimfire imo. but other people like different things so its best to see what you find the best one. accuracy wise there isnt anything in all of them the cz will group just as well Quote Link to post
Smudge00 0
Does the trigger on the Anschutz 1417 have an adjustable trigger pull similar to the sako quad with an allen key screw adjuster. Edited August 12, 2008 by Smudge00 Quote Link to post
ace32 4
hiya smudge,i have the cz 452 .22 style, and what can you say, silent deadly, acurate as out,16" barrel, spot on walking or out the mitsi, trigger is heavy out the box, stick a brooks on,and as light you want, and it gets better after a few hundred rounds to bed it in,have,nt tried the other ones, but no need to spend hundreds more, just for a name, for an out and out bunnie basher, that wont let you down, get the cz,mine shoots win subs all night long, dont know about holes paper at 50 yds n stuff, prefer to bag up on bunnies,if i miss, its me not the cz,thats my viewthese class rifles, atb, ian http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd220/i...CT0001.jpg,just some of the many the cz has claimed.
