Strong Stuff 2,171
Just been on the phone to a mate, a proper lad who works his dogs, his pc is knackered so am posting this just in case anyone else has the same ........... Story goes, last week he got a visit from what he called a Gyppo, asking about his dogs (Lurchers), asking if he had any coursing dogs, lad tells him no coursing dogs and to get lost. Today the same lad is talking to a mate in Eire on the phone, Irish lad tells him that he's just heard that some Gyppos had offered a lad in Derbyshire some Lurchers and Terriers that they were going to "get" from Staffordshire (the owner of the dogs lives in Staffordshire). Seems all too much of a coincidence, obviously the lad in Staffs has taken precautions and hopefully all will be well, but beware if you live in Staffs particularly at the minute but guess it applies anywhere. That's all that needs to be public for now, anything else please PM, you never know who's looking! Thanks.

Guest hpool_hunter
once had a pup up for sale in the local rag , 3 lads come round to view the dog , my mistake taking them to the allotment were it was kept , the next morning went round to feed the dogs , doors smashed in , and all dogs taking APART from the pup which was for sale , how ironic , dont bother with allotment now , built kennel in back garden , not to be to trusting again ,

dfee 1
me and dirtymole69 of this site had 3 terriers and 2 lurchers taken in 2003 we just had a litter of lurchers for sale so a few people had been looking round the kennels,we came home from a night out and found all the dogs had gone,at the side of 1 of the kennels there was a folder containing prices for pvc soffets facias and windows.which alot of the travellers do round here,we think they knocked on the door to see if we were in with the folder just in case we were, when they new we wernt they just took all the dogs, none were ever seen again.
