My Dog Attacked

What is wrong with people these days? They have no control or idea of how to keep and walk dogs in public and it is always someone elses fault.

 

My sisters Boxer type dog got attacked about two weeks ago, just as she walked onto the local common with her dog a large "staff type" (only description I could get off her) dog just steamed into him and a fight broke out but as she didn't let go of the lead and he's a softie the staff got a hold of his leg and went to work causing some damage but nothing that couldn't be stitched up.

My sister tried to get the staff off but to no effect and just as she aims a kick right in the nads of the dog the chav couple who own it run over shouting abuse at her calling her this and that and saying that her dog attacked theirs and she should control it etc?? It was on a short lead and their dog ran over to attack him not the other way round? And they start dragging my sisters dog who's got his right front leg in the staff's mouth and don't even try to get their dog off? Whilst threatening her?? Still wish I would have been there so both the dog and its owner would have had to reconsider their actions severly.

A couple of months before this episode a gang of youths tried to set their dogs on me and my sisters dog (different common though)by shouting kill, kill, kill as loud as they could?? Why? who knows?

 

If you can't control your dog keep it on a lead! and never ever blame anyone else but yourself if your dog attacks another dog. Loads of idiots about so watch out for your dogs.

I had t to give up walking my dogs in parks because of idiots with dogs running loose My dogs at the time were all kept on a lease because all of them would try to defend themselves(an akita,a shar pei and an irish terrier).The only dog we have left is a little jack russel bitch who couldnt do much to protect herself so i stay clear of public places

Its a shame when you get idiots like that with unsocialised dogs. My german sheppard was attacked by a jack russel when he was a puppy and he was a nervous pup anyway. The cock sucker thought it was funny until i got his jack by the scruff and threw it away. Then he had a pop so i had to give him a good hiding. Was walking through the town centre with my staff one day when i saw this bloke walking towards me with a german shep straining at the lead and growling. I grabbed my staff as he is never on a lead. (by the way he is very well socialised and good with other dogs until they have a pop at him ) This idiot started to grin at me so i simply said i wil let go of him if you like, which wiped the grin off his face anyway.

Staffies and a lot of other breeds get bad names because of these 'hard men'. I now have a parson terrier which has to be muzzeled every time i take her out where there are any other people or dogs/cats about.

Isn't Exeter a town then Ollie?? There are plenty of complete pricks living in the country, so don't blame just town dwellers.

There are few real bad dogs that haven't been made that way by the brain dead fuckwits that own them. I see a growing trend round here for wannabee gangsters to have a bull cross. These inadequate dimwits think walking around with a big dog makes them look hard. Unfortunately, they know diddley-squat about dogs and their pathetic efforts at training usually result in an aggressive, barely in control very unhappy dog.

Dogs are too easily obtained, and too many so called caring breeders sell their pups to anyone with the money, giving no thought for the future of the poor beggars.
