They ar bolted into nets so iv seen and done years ago .... where you then dispatch the rabbit humanly....

ive gotta say well spoted terrier man!!! seems like theres alot more goin on in the anti ferret scene in the uk than i thought. as for the "eye ferret" lol yes ferrets do like to eat rabbits eyes and brains but its very rarely (in my opinion) done whilst the rabbit is alive and underground.......... defonately not what the ferreter is looking for from his ferret anyway!!!
