just jack 998 Posted August 10, 2008 Report Share Posted August 10, 2008 hi all, 2 days ago my 12 yr old daughter noticed a lump on my jrt's front leg (3 inch up) i had a quick look as i'm always in a fecking rush so tonight she mentioned it again-----------closer look----------looked like a mole of some sort (no funnies pls) after a closer inspection, i said to the wife and daughter it might be a tick, wich the wife replied------the fecking dog will be bleeding like feck if you pull that off, anyway, i got the tweezers, felt it, gave a twist, off you come, dog didn't bat an eyelid, put the thing on some white paper-------didn't look much really-------turned it over-------little fecking legs, ------------should have done it the day before so i squased the thing-------------blood of coarse, cheers to my daughter JESS SORRY TO BORE YOU ALL, but my daughter will feel better know------------- JACK Quote Link to post Share on other sites

There is another product Advantic which was formulated specifically for ticks. I find it great, you might find ticks on the dogs but they are all dead. Also get yourself some of the tick twists to make sure the head comes out. Your vet will have them and they cost £3-£4, well worth it. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
