the olympics are shite, they should have proper sporting events like the egg and spoon race or a sack race, might stand a chance at winning something then

bring on the paralympics, looking forward to the 3 legged relay :whistling:

Ain't they all banned now because of healt and safety?

I've been watching the olympics, whatever is on when I can. Seen some great boxing, some bad luck in Judo and badminton. Just a thought though, most of the events are in Beijing but the sailing/rowing is at Shanghai and the equestrian at Hong Kong? Both these places are 200 miles or so, away from Beijing. No one is complaining about the spread out venues, as far as I can tell. Why then for 2012 are our lot insisting on building a £25M facility for the shooting sports in Woolwich, to save the shooters a 40 miles? trip to Bisley. Despite protestations from the NSRA and CPSA, Lord Coe and his lot intend to twat down the new facility after the games???? Just imagine what a fantastic world class place Bisley would be with £25M spent on it!! Perhaps they are only really interested in track and field, the rest just something they have to cater for??
