Poor fecking bitch: if she's already had 5 litters she's certainly past her prime in breeding terms. Some people just see dogs in terms of pounds and kudos. Why not give the bitch the retirement she obviously deserves. To be honest I blame the person that sold her just to breed from again. What is this sort of activity saying to people new to dogs? Use it, breed from it until it pops its clogs: its only a dog after all!!! IMO this bitch deserves a little respect for all that she has done on the field and breeding wise: time to call it a day and find a nice settee for her to end her days on.

Wayne Commons Fettle was avery classy bitch in her day Coco had her for awhile ,it seems she is doing the rounds as a breeding machine now.I find that not only a bit distastefulbut rather sad.Reminds me of that great Steeplechaser GoldenMiller ,who won the Grand National ,carrying top weight,setting the record time,he also won an unprecedented 5 Gold Cups,sadly he didnt get the owner he deserved ,ending his days pulling a Milk Float. This great Bitch deserves a long rest ,imo.

i bought her last week just to try and get a litter of pups off R IN BISHOP ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,well all the knowledgable coursing lads on here cant come up with whos owned her over this great dogs life theres loads of information on what dogs to put to her again but no one knows were shes been well like ive said from day one its all about MONEY, all the best mark

me womin got 8 kid she like a breeding machine she need puting down you wont to put me bullx on her to get some new blood in them top name coursing dog cos thay all get interbreed to much and you only see what they kill on them film thay dont put what thay miss on non of thay film how can you tell if thay are aney good just from seeing what thay kill i can make my bullx look as good if i put just the kills on film will thay make good money if i do that cos every dog miss some at some time

I didnt realise fettle had so many previous litters when I first responded to this topic,it really seems a shame to see a legendary bitch like this doing the rounds,throwing pups out like there going out of fashion.If you ever choose to get rid of her for what ever reason id happily give you a more than fair price and offer her a cracking permanent home.

but your wrong mate , most coursing men are just as comited to there dogs as you or I , its not the type of sportsman , ie ferreter, courser, shooter, lamper, digger, its the mans charactor that makes him, not his sport.

The only reason Id offer to have her is for the simple reason a dog of this quality deserves a decent home to retire,Instead of been made to produce litter after litter just for £PROFIT£ then passed on to someone else to do exactly the same.

FETTLE is a white rough/wooly coated bitch that won the FORLEY CUP a few years ago ,

these lads have bought her to breed pups for themselves , as she was once a very good bitch

she has recently had a litter of pups to my mates dog BILL , litter bro to TAZ very nice pups aswell they are

 

as they first said any suggestions on a stud , they have there own opinions and was just fishing for a possibly better suggestion , so instead of causing arguments , the ferret lads stick to theres ferrets if they dont know anything about coursing dogs/bitches bloodlines for a decent suggestion

ferrets or dogs if bred that much somethings got to give even bred to the top dog at the moment the poor bitch cant keep turning out first class pups if just used as a breeding mashine and if the person in ownership dont know what to line her with says it all

Sadly this lad seems to be ignoring his post now. So probably he'll just breed from this poor bitch AGAIN and then she'll go to the next pillar or post. Shameful

It sadens me to here that she was sold on. when i got her i loaned her to get a bitch for the blood as i ve got a real soft spot for her and i personally believe she is the best coursing bitch to grace the coursing field .my idea is to carry her blood on by line breed the pup with my fettle and smokey dog .i never bred her to make money in fact i ended up well out of pocket if i am going to be honest . it cost well over what it would of cost for me to go and buy a well bred coursing dog with out the hassle of the rearing of the pups etc . when she went back the lad who i got her off said she was off to live with a lad as a companion and live out her days in frount of the fire .
