has anyone had problems running a dog with a collar on, ie snagging on something,as looking too use rope and a collar, im getting pissed of reaching down to the quick release catch on my lead

Just use a bit of rope with a loop on one end and at the end of the night string the bag on it .

I use a plain 1inch nylon slip,i remove the steel ring from one end and put in a loop .65p from my local cash and carry.

my slip is a bit of rope, but what makes mine so special is i have a clip on one end and i clip it to one of my belt loops, and it works good, with out loosing it in the dark

got to agree with bill88 normal nylon lead cut the metal clip off seal it with a lighter an your good to go can be used with or without a collar.

Always used an old necktie , gives a good slip , no catches .forgot slip once and had to cut off boot lace, worse night ever ,cut my fingers to pieces..

i use a dog lead all ways one to hand [bANNED TEXT] out with the dogs.
