mattydski 560
Hello, not sure what you mean when you say you cant find anywhere to hunt. Have you tried every landowner in a 20 mile radius? Unfortunately unless you or close friends own land, this is what you and every other hunter in your area will be doing. Permissions are hard won and easy lost. They easiest way to find somewhere to hunt is adopt a respectfull attitude and knock on doors. No easy answer i'm afraid. What are you hunting/shooting with? chris08 0
Hi there my name is chris kitson. Im new to this site so ill start by saying hi to everyone.Im having the same problem round my area wich is halesowen.iv been arround a few of the farms arround the lanes and noone wants to know. Iv been shooting some time now since an early age, my dad tought me to shoot but he is a clay pigon shooter. But i have more of an interest in rifles than shotguns !. As a shooter my dad always tought me to be safe and always treat guns with respect. So anyway as i was saying im in to rifles, so i went out and brought me a webley stingray xs in .22 cal and also brought an A.G.S 3-9 scope wich has a nice 50 mm objective lense with paralax adjustment on it. witch iv been told is a pretty good gun to start of with by the local gun dealer. So i started doing some target shooting to get use to my new gun and after quite a few shots i was realy happy with the gun and the scope.Im now hitting a 20mm circle at 35-40 yards wich i was told to practice doing before i even thought about hunting anything live. So i started thinking about going arround the local farms and asking if it was ok to shoot vermin on there land but they iver already had someone doing it or was not interested at all. So im lost as to what to do now and just wanted to know if anyone had any advise to give me. Thanks for your time Chris. Quote Link to post

Hi i know this is an old post!! but if you are still looking have you tried any golf courses yet? I shoot at a few farms and after getting a new outlet for my shot rabbits last Dec` i went to my local course and asked the manager-pro if he need any rabbit control needed doing straight away he said yes, then i said would it be ok to get my feo to check it out for my .17 yes again it was that easy. The only thing is you have to go really early or late to avoid the golfers Quote Link to post
