lamping battary

right.need a new battary pack,cant be doing with any of your deben/carter rip offs that fall apart the first hedge you drag it through or muddy ditch you slide or fall down,has to be somthing that will run a million cp for an entire nights lamping and recharge for the next night.my last one came from a generater and was 32amp hr but a bit on the heavy side once you have a few rabbits or big rabbits etc. :victory:

I buy mine from Arthur Carter and they are debem just got a replacement had the old one for nearly 10yrs...comes with guarantee...as I'm sure you know :icon_eek: no probs with them at all

I buy mine from Arthur Carter and they are debem just got a replacement had the old one for nearly 10yrs...comes with guarantee...as I'm sure you know :icon_eek: no probs with them at all

all i had say is mate that the last 2 i had from them fell to bits in weeks diddent hold charges after a while dispite doing what it said on the box and when i took it back a few months later covered in mud and held together with gaffer tape they diddnt beleave it was the same one they sold me.therefore they ripped me off twice already and i wouldnt have one for nothing.thankyou.enjoy your odd mooch when the weathers nice. :icon_eek:

17 amp batterie will last all night on lightforce, pick them up of the markets for less than £20, usualy on those stalls that sell disabled scooter thingys.

 

bit of padding round it , and pop it in a small rucksack , last one cost me a £5 of the market

i will give you a hint on most roads today there are green boxes at the side of them with 2 doors that open look inside theyre full of dry cell batteries and failing that go along to your loca sewage works and look for the little green boxes they too have them in :whistling: :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:

i aint got sky mate thas why i need new battary, if i thought i could knock out sky on my street like that id do it.never leave me and my dogs alone they dont.my boy pings the sat dishes with his air gun,that makes me laugh when i see the tv man out the next day ,i had wondered bout them, fort they maybe heavy is all.probly better than robbing an ol dears disabled scooter battary while shes in the shop though!!(joke) id wait till she was home :whistling::bad:=@ Edited by ooty

Theres a number on the battery that identifies how old it is.....did you get them from Arthur Carter?......Odd Mooch...nice weather??????

only jokeing,i think it was him,was mail order from countrymans weekly that one,was long time ago,was definatly deben though.just realised your scottish?? ignore the nice weather bit!! not like the costa dell east anglia is it,i may have to move up there,dont remember there being a frost here last winter, :good::no: Edited by ooty

Dont get much frost either mate....but it pisses down the majority of the time...used to go lamping in thigh waders at one point lol....I've honestly never had any bother wi the ones I got from him....my mate got one from an anglers shop in Glasgow and it was crap wouldn't hold charge for any length of time he contacted debem and they told him it was from a bad batch and replaced it.
