To be honest i would use frontline spray , treat all the animals & treadt the house as well with an insectiside , otherwise you wasting your money doing the animals & leaving the house as they breed all the time & just wait for a host to jump on

J Darcy 5,871
Having had experience of ivomec for the past decade, i would never give little dogs more than an 1/8 th of a mil, or even 0.1. If the dog has baldness it often takes up to 4 weeks to start growing back. Two injections some 10-14 days apart if what i should imagine would be best. For lurchers .5 mil is enough, i know some give higher dosage, but its not needed IMHO. I would personally never give to any collie blooded dogs. Why take the risk. If in doubt, go see the vet. I dont think its licenced for dogs in this country, its liscenced for guinea pigs and farm stock though. From what i can gather.

indiana 1
I've used Ivomec here for probably 20 years. Never had a problem. Over here it is mainly used for heartworm preventative. I have heard it is not to be used on Collies or Greyhounds although I know people that use it on greyhound crosses monthly without a problem.
