good or bad publicity ?

Recommended Posts

anyone any advice on getting good publicity over bad ? i seen a "gamekeeper of the year " good publicity article in our local newspaper yet our estate gets attacked over lack of birds of prey insinuating they are all shot and rspb have something in every single week saying birds of prey are being persecuted all over the country. i think its all just attacking for attacking sake personally and totally uncalled for.

I think the RSPCA and the RSPB are both very good organisations in their field. I would happily donate if they didnt try and put pressure on country persuits. Without shooting sports, gamekeepers and farmers, there would be no countryside as we know it.

How about your estate sets up some posts dotted around, with fresh rabbit on top for the raptors - on a regular basis?

The RSPCA acctually pay sales men/woman to get custom. The people knocking your door are actually paid on commission. I know becuase i went for a job with a agency who had a contract with them. Needless to say i got the job but didnt show up for work. :gunsmilie: £45 ish per sign up it costs the rspca. £15 went to the sales person. Now that shows how much they swindle out of each sign up.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER belive that those c**ts are OK in any way shape or form because they are not.

They are the scum of the earth and would have you in court in a new york minute if they thought it would earn them a few quid, no matter how trumped up the charge!!!!

Recently I seen 12 buzzards together. Twice recently I've seen 4 buzzards together.

IMO thats not natural.

But I think the shooting magazines have way too much coverage of the raptor problem. Take Shooting Times for example. It's not unusual to see 3 or 4 articles mentioning that there should be a cull. IMO this is the sort of thing that adds fuel to the anti shooting fire. More so than keepers being accused of killing raptors.
