im after lining my bedlington with a whippet, my beddy is 15 and a half inches and the whippet i have found is 24, would this cause any problems? please only reply if you truely know the answer cheers

Are you sure its a pure Whippet? Sounds a bit large to me,even the non ped racing whippets i have seen have been nowhere near that height.My BeddyxWhippet bitch came from a mating between a Beddy bitch and a 21inch Whippet.

I personally wouldn't put a dog that size over a 15inch bitch.

Id say she will be fine haveing said that any bitch can have problems giveing birth dont let her get over weight, give her Daily exercise tell your vet when she is due so he can be on call if any thing goes wrong

the whipett is kc and is just a big dog, he was to big for racing so was given to a working home. the stud is bred from pennymodow whipetts. he really is a cracking dog.
