ferretville 69
As alot of you`s know i have recently got my gun back in the last few weeks and everything was doing fine. Well this morning it need a fill so set about filling it and noticed it seemed to take longer than usual but got there to the 190 mark sorted. Two hours later all i hear is wooooooooosh it had completely emptied nothing left in there. Tried filling it up again with the diving bottle this time it just blew air out from the barrel and the magazine and blew the bolt open . Think all the seals have gone and something internall . Because when i filled it i did`nt hear any leaking and thats a lot of air to leak in 2 hours . As you can imagine im totally pissed off as it was spot on up untill today. Back to the shop tomorrow will let you`s know how i get on , FV Quote Link to post

Coney 3
Feel for you mate because there's nowt worse than something happening to your gun that's out of your control, and the worse part about it is the wait.....as you well know. Additionally it's a fecking ball ache when they come back and they are shooting well below their capabilities because someone has turned it down for some strange reason and you have to re-mount your scopes and zero them in again as well as fitting a sling, silencer and what ever else you have on it. Seriously ferretville this is the second time this has happened in a short space of time, I think you must have the "bad apple" as these gun's are normally 100% and hardly ever faulter. See what it's like on it's return but if it were me I would be making it "crystal clear" to those responsible that I was not impressed at all and would like some recompense for the fecking "run-around" they have given you. Anyway mate good luck with the repair and keep us posted on how you get on?? Good luck Coney. Quote Link to post
Malt 379
Sounds like a bit of a pisser mate. Hope you get it sorted out soon. Quote Link to post
ferretville 69
If you let the pressure drop too low in the Air Arm's it will not fill back up unless you pull the bolt out ..Millet Pressure was at 100 bar millet just topping her up its fecked. Starting to think better to cut my losses now rather than it keep going back and forth. It had just been fully servied 2 weeks ago and this happens doing my head in fancy a different gun can`t put up with this drama every other month . See what happens tomorrow will let you`s know how i get on cheers FV Quote Link to post

As Coney rightly said, the AA range usually runs very true - mine hasn't had a single prob in the five years i have had it, but I can fully sympathise with you mate. If you are having no luck, PM me if you want and i'll give you my number (land line) - and we can talk about it on the dog & bone if you want? We might be able to sort it out that way. Cheers, Grim. Grim Reaper 1
bloody hell FV thats no good mate !!!!! i would say your love affair with air arms is over?? hope you get sorted mate chin up ol boy!! all the best sean Not neccesarily Sean, it doesen't sound like its Air Arms that are the problem, per se, but could more likely be these unscrupulous local RFD getting thier paws in the rifles [rather than the manufacturers themselves] that cause [some] of these mis-haps? Only my first thoughts and opinion though. Cheers, Grim. Quote Link to post
3jackwhite3 2
same thing happened with my mates s400 and i told him to pull the bolt back until it clicks then fill it you should have no problem but if that dont work i dno what will. Quote Link to post

ferretville 69
Well GR many thanks for your kind offer and sean yes you are right the gun has been back to AAs which the shop sent back no problem. This i might add at a loss of £1oo to them as AAs do not honour postage fees. The shop have been very good to me and hope fully we can resolve this matter today. I just cannot get my head round it why all these problems especially when AAs had just had it 2 weeks ago sorted the previous problem , and gave it a full service. This is why like has been said is this just a problem gun. Glad it had a 6 month garantee with it as this would have been costing me extra coin as well as the inconvenience. Popping to the shop soon so fingers crossed aye cheers guys for all the kind comments yis FV Quote Link to post
