I thaught to myself [bANNED TEXT] i go out in the mornin there would only be one left , But they were both there and ok so i watched them for a bit and the jill just keeps attacking the hob. :realmad: Whats ur best advice ? (This site is cool ) HELP Quote Link to post
Guest RobW71
Sounds like a bit of bonding. My two Jills gave the Hob hell when I first introdueced them, they soon settled down. Are you going to breed with them, if not it would pay to get them spayed. I want a couple more Ferrets, but not sure if it would be less hassel to get mine done, and buy in a couple kits Regards Rob Quote Link to post
Guest SPUD 1
Cheers mate, Yeh im going to get a litter out of her ! So i shouldnt worry to much for a couple of days ? Quote Link to post
Guest RobW71
One of my Jills has been dragging the other back to the bedding area, I'm not sure if it's mothering or comming into season. It's not causing a real prob and the Jill doesn't seem to mind. Just keep your eye on them, like you've been doing watch out for any injuries,ie- around the neck area. Regards Rob Quote Link to post

Mitch 0
Ive just done the same here. Introduced 1 hob to 1 new Jill, however i had the oppisite affect, the hob wouldnt leave my Jill alone. So i got another 2 jills, he did the same but has now settled down. I havent seen him going the Jills for neall 3 weeks. So all is well good luck Quote Link to post

doddsy1970 9
The hobs will soon be coming in to season now so she probably dosent enjoy being jumped on by a stranger and he sees her as a possible mate the jills are a couple of months away from coming in . Just keep an eye on them that he's not trying to rag hell out of her and making her really sore around the neck. My hobs starting to take an interest in my jills now too. One other thing is you will have to get another cage because when they have mated you will have to split them up because she might reject the litter and he will still try to mate her .....Good luck whatever you decide to do Quote Link to post
