martin 332
blackbird just hit my front window be ok to feed my ferrets wont it Funny you should say that,I opened the side door to take the dogs out, and,I had to duck straight away,as a young Blackbird flew straight towards my face.As I ducked it flew past me and into the window at the back of the room.It must of been a suicide job,as,if I hadn't opened the door it would of flew right into it(and it is a solid door-no glass). As Foxdropper said though,it might of been being chased by a Sparrow hawk.................anyway the ferts loved it.............. TOMO 26,040
i have fed alsorts of mamals and birds to the firts, they will pretty much eat anything, now whilst, i only feed fresh meat/flesh let me just point out that ferrets are quite capable of eating carrion, and in a wild state will do on a regular bassis without any ill efects. its only because we live in this sanatiesd world we think this is awfull, but most carnivors the world over can eat carrion, without killing themselvs Quote Link to post
