im no lurcherman but ive been reading one of darcys books a mate lent me lots of tales of running deer . i was wondering were these dogs all ok with sheep ???

If stock broken properly you won't have any problem.Sheep and Deer are totally different animals,your dogs should know the difference.

i think the only problem some dogmen have had is with some of the rare breeds,dogs have been 100% around normal sheep but hit and miss around soays etc.they have a more gamey aroma.

spot on have a bitch mad for deer pre ban but i would trust her 100% anywhere at anytime witch stock have seen a mates lurcher he just bought in pull a sheep its onlya young dog so been sorted now and she just stood by my side to me that 100% stock steady and ud never guess it shes a bull x aswell
