LARSEN TRAP RELOCATION

Recommended Posts

Well after myself and woodga built the larsen trap last week we decided to move it.It has done well at colins catching the call bird and another five magpies last week, but they have seemed to have gone quiet now none for a couple of days and the call bird has been driving his neighbour nuts chattering on at 4 o clock in the morning :whistling: .We have been watching a field in front of my house for a few weeks now and seen plenty maggys, so we put it out last night at 9 o clock.

i told you that was a good call bird :victory:. out of the dozen we saw we have taken a dozen from the same area in a little over a week,as you say the blackbirds and finches will have a better chance of rearing their young next season just keep monitoring the field when we see a build up we will locate another trap or two well done ratcherman :clapper:

yep , not bad for a rank amateur , when you grow up to be a big lad you will catch plenty more , but not in the trap you,s showed me on friday , :whistling:

has that smell gone yet ? i had to bath 4 times and burn all me clothes , i think my nose hairs have absorbed some of the steam cos i can still smell it , i,m sure you dogs run fast to get away from thier own arse holes after eating that shite

Well checked the larsen this morning and there was another two in the trap :clapper: there was one dead though and when i got it out the trap i found it had its head off,it must of been a fox, i think the maggy must of had its head oot trying to escape and charles has been sniffing about,as all the magpies have gone missing from under the bushes .Might be worth a look with the rifle to get the fox before it gets the neighbours hens :whistling:
