runforyourlife 361
That's some fish..well done. nice one was it just on a day trip boat ? It wasnt from a day trip no. It was from a friends boat. i was trolling a big blue rama squid at 150 ft down. It hit and was air born in 3 seconds. It was then about 500ft down in less than 7 seconds. They were pouring water on the reel and over me. The canal it came from was the bridgewater.... No it is dead yes, as it died while being unhooked. We usually let them go after being tagged. They are a magical thing, and a msytery of the sea.... It was shared around the restaurants in the harbour.
