how many of you have cleaning kits or use the cleaning pellets? i have just got a hw100 and as my first pcp and decent gun i want to keep it healthy but dont really know what to use? what do you guys use?

regards john

hello john...........prevention is better than cure.!!

i use Napier power pellet (pellet lube).........improves accuracy and keeps everything lubed up...mag, barrel etc. stops lead build up in the barrel.

if your gun is new.....it will keep it really clean. i was dubious at first, but have to say, tried and tested and very happy with the results.

Napier also do a wide range of cleaning products.

hope this helps john.

all the best

Personally i dont do much . I do wipe off all finger prints and general crud when i put it away, and if it gets wet i take off the stock and dry every part ( leaving it to dry for 24 hours before putting it back together ) .Once every few months i give it a good clean , but barrel wise i dont do anything because as far as i can see the pellet skirt takes all the crap from inside the barrel . Would`nt do anycleaning with solvents because of the seals on a pcp , so thats it for me  service once in a while is the main thing i think :gunsmilie:

it costs around £2

4 drops ( approx) per 100 pellets.
