Smudge <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well we stopped ferreting mid febuary,while out on a spot we go to the ferret layed up twice on young thumpers and that was when we got a covering of snow that weekend,and they other rabbits were ready to drop there young,so we called it a day.put the lamp n batteries away to the fields are shooting up and when u pick out a rabbit the crafty gets clap down and crawl away,in the crops that are shooting up,so roll on next season Quote Link to post

mark 1 Posted April 15, 2005 Report Share Posted April 15, 2005 I've only been out ferreting a handfull of times this season, nothing compared to previous years, and was planning on a couple of days before the end of season...which got me wondering, how many of you have called it quits for the rabbiting this year already...? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> iv finnished for the season now to many youg running about .
