Stopped about 4 weeks ago, young 'uns absolutely everywhere!! Will be back in Oct....

there is lots of young ones about around here been seeing them for the last 4 weeks , with the sets been cleaned out aswell ready for new litters

Yeah these alot ain't there shaun. Loads. Still not stoppin. Farmers still see them as money eaters

well we stopped ferreting mid febuary,while out on a spot we go to the ferret layed up twice on young thumpers and that was when we got a covering of snow that weekend,and they other rabbits were ready to drop there young,so we called it a day.put the lamp n batteries away to the fields are shooting up and when u pick out a rabbit the crafty gets clap down and crawl away,in the crops that are shooting up,so roll on next season

I've only been out ferreting a handfull of times this season, nothing compared to previous years, and was planning on a couple of days before the end of season...which got me wondering, how many of you have called it quits for the rabbiting this year already...?
