rabbit_killer 2
yeah quite normal it happens to me quite alot i have evan shot one before it drop to the deck instantly i started walking over it was about 27 yards ish got there went to pick it up it jumped up leged it 10 yards or so and then it hit the deck and clapped out for good lol Quote Link to post
Gav 1,708
Have had the same myself, I don't think its uncommon. Maybe at closer range you don't get the same impact or trauma that a thirty yard shot will have, if it is a close range shot, the ammo maybe won't have the same shock wave at that velocity. or maybe even they have such small brains they don't know they should be dead! Dan_Jones 7
Ive had this happen a few times in the past but only seems to happen with a more powerfull gun and i was wondering ... the pellet might have just blasted straight threw that quick they dont even know they have been shot yet lol sounds silly but happens with bird ... you shoot them from close and they sit there with a gaping hole in them then 5 seconds later roll over Quote Link to post
The one 8,474
I think when the pellet hits them they get a rush of adrenialin and that gives them the power /energy for the exta few seconds even when there fatally hit Quote Link to post
gilly-93 31
Yea ive had it happen a few times with hw95k not with hw100 yet lol only shot 2 bunnys so far Quote Link to post
shenners 0
Had it happen with an Air arms S410 in .22 (which I sold)...but to be fair it did account for more than its share of rabbits and squirrels in the three years that I had it.....but I can say in all honesty that the weihrauch Hw100 I have now (177) is far superior in build, accuracy and power. So far whatever I have hit has met it's maker then and there......Flopsy gets it in the head, flopsy is dead Quote Link to post
