i didnt think they were cos ive had 2 or 3 but all the rest polecats and they to me acted in no way blind obviously i never checked cos i hadnt heard the rumour, but to be honest i think this kit is blind i put a bowl down to her and she was smelling but couldnt find where it was i put a rabbit leg infront of her and moved it about waiting for her to latch on and she never.

 

Call the kit christine.Seriously that dont really mean its blind.In saying that you will no better than anyone.It might just be a bit late in devolping.How old is the kit?

grant it was my kit mate believe me its not blind could be acting funny because its been split up from its sisters

shes 9 weeks mate, i know it doesnt mean shes blind mate but just seems like it a bit the way shes been acting, ill find out soon if she definetly is as i have her longer, but i got her then she acted a little bit like it and i thought i wonder if that person was right so thought id ask.

 

Apart from the eating thing,is she behaving normally?Ie like in playing running about and stuff?I have a blind poley but he is 8yr old lol Im sure it be fine mate.Good luck

aye mate shes eating drinkin etc and shes starting to come out her shell a bit now, cant see anything down a hole anyway.

iv never really kept white ferrets mostly polecats, but i heard albinos were blind? i didnt know this so it was news to me, but i got a little jill shes an albino just a kit, i think shes blind, and im still trying to work out if shes deff aswell, ill keep the ferret regardless just wondering if anybody could shed some light on this and will it effect the working ability?

how do Grant ?

albinos do have weaker eye sight than dark eyed varieties and are sensitive to sunlight, But, they can see better in the dark apparently
