scothunter 12,609 Posted August 5, 2008 Report Share Posted August 5, 2008 (edited) i didnt think they were cos ive had 2 or 3 but all the rest polecats and they to me acted in no way blind obviously i never checked cos i hadnt heard the rumour, but to be honest i think this kit is blind i put a bowl down to her and she was smelling but couldnt find where it was i put a rabbit leg infront of her and moved it about waiting for her to latch on and she never. Call the kit christine.Seriously that dont really mean its blind.In saying that you will no better than anyone.It might just be a bit late in devolping.How old is the kit? sam3009 4 Posted August 5, 2008 Report Share Posted August 5, 2008 iv never really kept white ferrets mostly polecats, but i heard albinos were blind? i didnt know this so it was news to me, but i got a little jill shes an albino just a kit, i think shes blind, and im still trying to work out if shes deff aswell, ill keep the ferret regardless just wondering if anybody could shed some light on this and will it effect the working ability? how do Grant ? albinos do have weaker eye sight than dark eyed varieties and are sensitive to sunlight, But, they can see better in the dark apparently hows the younguns ? atb K.
