Yep, we went out yesterday in the pissing rain, sat there all day, wind (and rain) blowing straight down our necks, pigeons coming fast from behind all day. shot 38 pigeons 17 crows. Did my first ever left and right on the crows, and then did it twice on the pigeons! :gunsmilie: and had canada geese landing in the pattern!! roll on sept 1st!!!!

It can be done :clapper: you would either need the flock decoys or the silo socks from UK shoot warehouse for the best results.

when you use these 2 types of decoys the rain rolls off of them and they do not shine :boogie:

Have a look at the Rotary question if you need to know how to set up your pattern

I might be a little late on this post but just last week I was shooting in driving rain and wind. My partner and I set up during early rain and it only got worse. We were laughing at the ridiculous ness of it but we shooting all day and missing many birds especially pigeons. The final bag was 49 crows and 5 pigeons. I missed many pigeons but then they are fast. Yes, you can shoot in the rain.
