Whats that smell ?

Iv just recently got into ferreting and iv come across a problem with a bad smell ! My albino Hob is kept clean and doesnt really smell that bad, But when i was out [bANNED TEXT] him last nite i saw a fresh hole so i put him down, After a few seconds i herd a bit ov thumping and a squeel and then the bunny bolted ! When my ferret came out he absolutley stunk !!!!!!!!!! What could this smell be ? thanks ! (Happy Hunting) :whistle:

i dont think the smell is that bad really, ive had my jill do it a few times

 

first time was when the dog snuck up on her when she was at a warren, then we put her and a hob down a bigger warren and she sprayed him, then when i got my hob one of them sprayed in the cage that afternoon

 

its strong, but not horrible, but then maybe ive become desensitized :D:D

Its a good defense, and its not a good idea to remove the glands I.M.O My ferrets only bomb when they are scared, 99% of the time they are not scared. But if your working them, its good they have it.

 

My hob bombed the first time i worked him, and he resurfaced soon after. I would hate to be a rabbit and cop it in the face, i tell you one thing. That is pure danger :sick:
