Whilst I thought I was being ultra clean - there were maggots growing in places I didnt know ferret poo could get to!! :sick: This has prompted a few changes to my set up, yes, they still poo where they shouldn't! But now Im able to get to it to clean it properly. I should add; its the 8 week old kits who seem to be causing the damage, they just seem to poo everywhere except the corner the 4 other ferrets use! This was before the changes. And this is now. Complete access to all of the concrete floor and I can clean every bit of sh*t! The bit with no door is just the feeding area so far so good there! andy s410c 61 Posted August 5, 2008 Report Share Posted August 5, 2008 I,ve had to change my court around aswell JT.I have had to put a tray in the far corner as the 2 jills have started to use it since i've introduced the 3 kits to the court for supervised playtime & socialising.I will be keeping the kits out of the court for 2-3 weeks till they are a bit more stronger & sure footed...hopefully they,ll just use the 2 corners which they have been up to now Quote Link to post

Molie1337 35 Posted August 9, 2008 Report Share Posted August 9, 2008 Brilliant ferret court jultaylor1972, given me a few ideas! ive just been asked to build a ferret court for a mate who doesnt know a screw from a paintbrush! is there any big no-no's for ferret courts or does anything go ?! ive had ferrets before but made the mistake of getting rescue ferrets (moraly good i suppose!?) but they were evil evil things, still got a few scars!
