chess 0
i would of shot the bloody thing I havnt shot 5 of the black devils because it is illegal of course without a license. Mans doing though, they are a coastal species and if there was an adequate food supply on the coast they would stay there right? Although maybe its general evolution, see plenty of oystercatchers inland nowerdays whereas 20 years ago you would only spot them on the coast. Have them flying over the house now. Nice chub M, i do like chub very obliging, once caught a beauty on the River Wharf on a PTN Quote Link to post
Guest bigredbusa
we had a licence to shoot 5 a year , bearing in mind it was a trout farm shooting 5 was never enough Quote Link to post

Nice chub M, i do like chub very obliging, once caught a beauty on the River Wharf on a PTN I had 14 chub the other night, all above 2 1/2 Lb,six eels, and a perch I used to shoot loads of comrorants with a .22 rimmie when I lived on the coast, never could resist them as they all perched on the Pylons spanning the river near Washington Wildfowl Refuge,I think they were legal Leastways,no one ever told me I couldnt do it Because I certainly could Quote Link to post
Aled 510
I love seeing kids enjoying field sports. My boy is 2 in September and has a strong attraction to water (or dwr as we call it in Welsh). I often wonder where he gets that from ....do you think it could be anything to do with his great Grandfather, Grandfather, and Fathers passionate love of Fishing? Cheers Aled Quote Link to post
