FOXHUNTER 5,021
Yesterday saw me travel down to Davids to do a spot of pigeon shooting. We set up first of all on a partly cut rape field but soon discovered that the birds were heading for a barley stubble, so we packed up and moved to the barley stubble. The shooting was slow but very enjoyable as the birds decoyed in perfect text book fashion , curling into the wind and gliding into the kill zone We both shot well and ended the session on 54 birds , not all picked as some dropped in standing corn behind us. A really enjoyable days shooting mate .............cheers Quote Link to post
