Dan_Jones 7
anyone know anything on the gunpower sss .... looks great and sounds good but does it shoot well ?? Quote Link to post
Dan_Jones 7
Probably the most powerful air rifle in the world. The SSS is capable of producing 60ft/lbs of muzzle energy in all three calibers: .22 (5.5mm) .20 (5.0mm) and .177 (4.5mm). Depending on the caliber it will shoot a pellet at over 1200 feet per second (over 400 metres per second). :o Quote Link to post

jamie g 17
there a waste of air i think at that power you mite as well have centrefire rifles. the best power to have if you want fac air i think is around 30 ftlb Quote Link to post
ChrisJones 7,975
Shinsung do a .50calibre air rifle that's capable of 195ft/lbs. You won't find one in Britain though! Just to echo what's already been said. Anything over 12ft/lbs and you'll need an FAC. If you want more power, and more range, then you'll have to go through that procedure. Or you could work on your fieldcraft... Quote Link to post

Forget all the toys we use over here and take a look, you might just come up with 'the most powerful air rifle' Why didnt he shoot for head? Piecing the lungs sounds pretty much like shooting a rabbit in the arse with a .22 11.5ftlb... 15 minutes? Surely an eye shot would be better? Correct me if I'm wrong! Quote Link to post
