Rabbit's are described as pests (or vermin if you like) but once you try to sell them they become game, therefore in order to sell them you will need a game license (about £4 from the post office). However Rabbit's are not game, so what happens? Just go and buy the game license and then sell them ((about £2 each paunched). I supply them to my local butcher and he knows me so isn't at all bothered about games licenses and the such. But other people might need a guarantee that they are healthy and fresh. Hope this helps? As far as selling rabbits, none of the butchers in my area have ever askd to see a license, although they do insist that the rabbits are ready for the fridge (gutted and skinned). This is because they are no longer allowed to have 'unprepared 'meat on display. Quote Link to post
