LAMPING COMPETITION!!!!

I dont know why people seem so worried to enter into this......we all know that there are no dead certs in the dog game, a dog thats devastatingly good one night might not perform well the next time, and like someone said earlier, you've gotta be in it to win it!!!!!!!!

 

The final is gonna be a top night with plenty of sport and will test the lungs and heart of the finalists!!!!!!

Chartpolski is putting his bitch delta in, that takes us upto 15 including Rews dad if he does it.......

 

Seeing as all the talkers have gone mute, we're gonna manage to get a 16 dog stake going, this means that the money is obviously only gonna be £800, Woodga has said he'll put someone up for the night with kennel space for a dog and Chartpolski has offered the same, so that eliminates having to use any money for a hotel........ how do people wanna split the purse, obviously we'll take out a donation for lurcherlink and then work out the split between 1st and 2nd place, how does that sound to you all, the people that have already said they'll be entering can you confirm if you're happy with a 16 dog stake???

We'll leave this open for another week to see if the numbers get up and if not we'll take the first 16 names, then maybe next year we'll see an increase in entries!!!!!!

YES happy to keep it a 16 dog, id say a presentation jacket for winner to keep plus a cup to be handed back in next year, a small trophy for runner up to keep these should cost around £100 mark

to true any dog thats half decent can have a a real chance at winning this apart from the glory i like seeing good dogs doing there stuff and i know one thing they need to be fit looking forward to making some new friends and generally having a laugh

I am definently entering with my dog taffy

LD il have a word with Fieldmarshall tomorow and see if he's interested, he works on rigs 2 on 3 off so if a round is to be ran each month from oct to feb so long as its anytime that month and not a set date that month im sure he'd enter, if your struggeling id maybe enter a coursing bred bitch who has b een lamped a few times if tomo could run it for me incase im not around, id pay the £50 entry.

 

 

No probs max, i think its easier to give each leg a month to run in, that way when its local people can choose moon patterns and shit like that........

 

 

If anyone is finding problems with the rules let me know, i'm open to suggestions, but the entry fee is gonna have to stay as it is.......i'm doing this for nowt by the way, and i aint even taking part in it, yet if it was offered to me, i'd be in £50 no probs, i'll prob end up putting in £50 for the hotel in the final just t keep the money nice and rounded!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing stopping you entering same rules for you as everyone else judge in attendance ect, fordy and howley used to run in the forley cup. the rules you have up are spot on , no need to amend any of those imo cos once you start it will never stop , keep it basic ie numbers win thru, when i suggested it a few years back folks were saying points for retrieves ect lol, keep it as it is and they shud be no probs.

 

 

I remember all the nit picking max, thats why i've tried to lay it out as straight forward as i can..... that way if people agree to enter they AGREE to enter!!! Well in that case, unless people have any objections to me entering, i'll be the 5th person willing to show meself up and i know Woodga will do the same........so now we have 6, only 26 more to go...........maybe everyones out tonight and we'll get an influx of entries tomorrow....why do i doubt that..........

Right then we've got the first 16 names in Lamp + Battery is in, so Rew your old man will have to put off mate as this guys a member and has put his name up for it.......i'll sort out where the money is to be sent, this will have to be paid in by 1st september, anyone sending cash will have to send it special delivery no exceptions and then once its all in the draws will be done and the comp will start in November, one heat a month and the final in February!!!!

fek the dog coat mine was born with one and it ay worn that one out yet 100 quid to each l/link and the site winner takes all no trophys is a competition not a show like doga says pay on the night or what

Den, as you know Delta is not a hare dog, but I did take her out a couple of times with LDR, and once with Jeddah, and every time she did the bizz, and I'm talking daytime, on the Northumberland fells, in winter !! This lamping competition could be great, it will sort out the talkers from the walkers, I'm up for it !!!
