Guest markbrick1
Maybe some of the coursing lads might step forward and give the nightime specialists a run for their money, by feck it would be funny if a coursing bred won it lol. it would be as funny as a lamping dog winning a coarsing competion mark Link to post
LDR 29
I wanna know whats happened to all these all rounders people keep talking about???? Link to post
Guest joe ox
Feck me who's rattled your cage, never said every lamper's in pursuit of bunnys, but plenty are? surely more than 32? a bloke has posted for a little comp with a little entry fee, good idea id say even though i much prefere running daytime, and yes most probably a specialist bunny dog will win out but i dont think that should stop anyone else who fancies a go trying, goodluck to all who step forward. Its plain to see your a coursing worshiper, how often do you match YOUR dogs daylight? Link to post

Guest joe ox
NEVER had a match , i play for the sport, yes i prefer coursing but also admire the good lamping dogs, backed ASD up on a number of occassions , if i were against lamping i wouldnt be backing this proposed comp would i ? anyone with a brain could see that. Your knocking people for not doing something you dont do yourself in your preferred pursuit! Edited August 2, 2008 by joe ox Link to post

But then again he was always a one trick pony pre ban........ When's the all round competition???..... Edited August 2, 2008 by longdogrunner Link to post
scouser3038 1
I think if you lower the entrance fee you may get more interest as not that many people have out an out rabbit dogs so they probably see it as throwing £50 down the drain. Also i think people are not interested in winning the money they just might enter for the crack and to meet a few lads of here. IMHO Id be interested myself but not for £50 entrance fee as my dog doesnt stand a chance against some of the dogs with a lot of whippet blood in them. The £50 entrance fee is there to get rid of people who say they'll be in it then not bother turning up.... ...... it goes part way of ensuring that people who enter really want to try their dogs against others, no disrespect but the fee also eliminates people who like yourself and others, openly say their dogs aint that good on rabbits....there's no shame in that, in fact its refreshing to see people being honest about a dogs ability, this isn't a serious competition or the entrance money would be alot more!!!!!!!!! The way its going it'll be £100 in for tomo, markbrick, woodga and me, winner takes all!!!!! I seem to remember more people being up for it a couple of seasons ago, must be a sign of the times!!!!!! F**k it i'll have a do just for the crack my dogs not the best on the bunnies but he's not bad for the size of him, also some of the prize money is going to charity. Pm me when the entrance fee is due and i'll sort it out Link to post
TOMO 26,171
lets just go for a 16 dog stake. i know a very decant bred coursing dog that would have stood a good chance 2 year ago , with a very high % record , she missed very few slipped on................. but thats the past and the little dog will have to do the honers.
