Ar the bookmakers invited? iv got a tip that lads have started to drug some bunnies and know a few spots bate from mixi so i know where and when to place my bets

Wouldnt it be better if the prize was not money? as some folk will prefer other then money such as lets say first second and thrid get a throphys ..... always look good on the mantal.... and then goods to that value of money prize or a holiday or somthing money seems a bit boring if ya get me....

Good idea mate i would prefer a trophy myself!! Im a bit relieved theres other big dogs being entered I thought mine would be the only one over 24"

There is gonna be trophies aswell....have a look at what maxhardcore put up.......an embroidered coat to the winner, a trophy that will have your dogs name engraved on it and the year it won, which will be handed back for the next years competition, plus prize money and a trophy to the first loser....i mean runner up and a smaller cash prize!!!!!

LDR does that mean one week maybe down south the next up north,the running cost could be huge as ooty has pointed out im up for it alwrite but there needs to be a cap on distance or else some could be paying through the nose here.i mite be out first round but then again not and will it be held on week end if poss.also you need dog freindly acomadation as im sure not everyone has cars to suite,im asking now to save confusion as it may well not be a one off.

Depends on your location mate???? as already said, the first heat will be pairing the people that are closest to each other, so say there's 4 people down south, they'll be paired up and you'll get 2 heats down there, as much as possible people will be paired as close as possible, the final will be in the north east, its down to the 2 people running against each other to decide a night to do it on....you'll have a month within to have your heat...ie.... HEAT 1= November, HEAT 2 = December, HEAT 3 = January and the final February!!!! There has already been offers of accomadation for people, have a read through the rules mate in the other thread!!!!

I'm interested mate but depends on distance I would be coming from Glasgow and depending on where you are, who I'm drawn against, the cost of travelling is a major factor especially if you get through the rounds this might involve several journeys. This isnt an excuse just a fact and might have a baring on the lack of interest north of the border.....but good on you for getting it up and running maybe in years to come we can have regional heats that would let us all have a crack and the 4 regional winners meet to fight it out for the prize....would take a bit of organising though...ATB
