The more you boys bite, the more he'll carry on! It turns him on. In his own perverted way, he thinks you all fancy him...

It sounds as if they are a bit afraid? If thats true then please stop punishing them! If they are afraid you need to take them in your hands and just handle way without putting them down when biting. you can put some oil og paste on your figers and let them lick it off to learn that your hands are not evil.

Make sure that they have a lot of space and time for playing, that will make happy pups.

Als you sometimes nedd to sit down when they play and let them come to you, let them decide when to get picked up.

Never punish a ferret which bites of fear!

If they are just being pups at their worst then I use this method:

When they bite I say NO and take them in the scruff of the neck, supporting them with the other hand or holding them gently against the floor (no hurting them!). Someimes H hiss of them as well.

I like this method bacause it's natural for ferrets, as they grap each other in the scruff of the neck when figting.

Good luck.

You just got to stick with it mate feed them then handle them , try holding then in one hand round there shoulders support there feet between your fingers and run your other hand down there back this relaxes them and they cant reach to bite you

if you do the knuckle trick properly there is no way they can keep biting, just steadily increase the pressure until the ferret starts to try and get away. Remember you need to be holding the ferret with the other hand so you have something to push against.

Not pleasant for either of you but it will cure it. Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble.

Its called stockmanship, you dont persist with shite animals.......thats the way you end up with good stock.........get it?

Now you can shout in its ear, call it rude names, send it to bed without any dinner, take away its toys, stop it from playing with its mates, take it to ferret borstal, shake a bottle of pebbles at it.........in fact you can try just about all stupid pet nonsense that gets written on this section of THL............BUT............if the animal is behaving in a way whitch will stop you using it properly and maybe prevent its effective use in the field........in short, earning its grub, then it has to go.

Only in that way will you end up with animals that work with you and for you in the manner you want and to a high degree.

This section is like some sort of love in.................makes me fecking crack up!

Horse breeeders cull ugly foals that wont sell, farmers cull stock all the time...........its twats that talk big about cruel people, but dont have the bollocks to do the right thing that are the main reason so many rescue type places are full to the fecking brim.

I know f**k all about ugly foals however i do know about ferts. And one thing i do know is this.I have kept poleys for years and mine dont bite, they do as kits but with patience and handling they stop. However if i ever came across a fert that was like you say untameable (and i dispute this) I would certainly get rid.

Oh and i wouldnt say this section is all about love and bunny huggers as you seem to hint it is.

If you find the section so displeasing stay off it.
