My Grandfather Trialed for years,He used Tyrone of cuileog with pitbull amanda to produce socks[derry rascal]i keep dogs from the socks line,i think geronimo was also off the same litter ,i might be wrong,he also had cork rose and black tiger,His name was Terry Byrne,ther are certs still hear from the trials,

Cuileog line was the line bred by the late Billy Rickard ov Waterford he mixed his line a lot with cosshair line and they were fearless to a fault. We still have some ov that mix and they are still as good as ever.

Shiela was trialed many times and only ever came off once,heat exhaustion.Lots of good Irish staffs where bred out of her and many with the breeding have always said she qualified,but although she was an excellant bitch she never once qualified.Although some lads in the process of writing books ,not p***y,are trying to say she did qualify as it looks better in the ped.The bitch never made a peep all her working life.

socks was not out of " pitbull amanda" socks was out of "sister to geronimo" and " tyrone of cuileog" and your grand father did not breed " socks " billy rickard bred him.

A lot ov dogs that went for tria(north or south) had a make up name to keep ahead ov the posse (we got houses raides often enough)These are the facts .Cuilleog breeding or coshair breeding are in most pedigrees back a bit for game dogs .A lot ov them had a fault(if u call it one)They were fighting dogs they were not interested in pulling just jump into the pot and try and kill the foe.Some dogs pulled(not takeing from the dog0Acute badger who had been in the pot before(no they did not always get one turn in the pot)would go with the flow head down pull him out.They qualified.Both ov them lines were mostly show dogs(long time ago before show dogs looked like pigs and the kc were like me and u (they aredifferent now shower ov c**ts we got ran out ov rings for marks on a working dog(he was badger the week before one english women judge ran our dog for rat bites(they were badger marks)We were a discrase to the working staff.I worked irish champions kc cuilleog breeding coshair breedind game to a fault both those lines are in most pedigrees ov fighting dogs.I seen a cuilleog dog last night we broughht him out ov Billys kennels the night after he died (he is family pet now)He got out one daythrough steel mesh And killed 5 sapling greydounds now he is sitting down with chewing a teddy bear.Both these lines cuilleog coshair produced the best working game staffs.That ever walked on this island that we live in.
