countrycommando89 7
i have mentioned on another post about a mate of mine who recently purchased an smk b2. the thing is dieseling, has a stiff as f*ck trigger and sounds like a rimfire. pile of shizen. i told him to send it back to wherever he bought it and invest in a better gun (still pretty standard but decent enough). my brother has been looking to get into air rifleing and i just mentioned to him about buying the gun off the lad maybe sticking a gas ram in it. giving it a full service and clean out. 1. would this be a cost effective idea 2. would it be worth while or am i just trying to polish a terd 3. would it be possible to stick a gas ram (2nd hand if poss) into it 4. how much are gas rams and how much (approx) do they cost to get fitted any response welcome. if it is worth while i will be quite happy to take it on as it is a great oppurtunity for me get an idea on how these things work. martin1 0
tell hi to throw it in the bin mate, sorry to be so harsh. Dont bother with it. you will never be able to shoot straight because of a number of things. i bought 1 thinking same thing and its in the cupboard. i suppose for plinking and £10 get it for the garden but he will not learn as it will not shoot straight. gas rams are made for certan rifles and are about £60 i doubt you will get one for a b2 as there verry good rifles on the market that they have not made a gas ram for. if you get it for him, dont let him shoot at live quarry what ever you do. just being honest and passing on my experience Edited July 31, 2008 by martin1 Quote Link to post
