Guest Keeps
Had a look out this morning after a couple of weeks off. Smudge decided hed rather go fishing so there was just me & Mr K. The drive down to the woods was an experience in itself, Im sure people pay money for white knuckle rides like that No sooner had we got into the woods when the dogs put up a bunny they had a few similar courses, none of them easy to catch or photograph, woods are full of obstacles and at times can make you hold your breath :11: its quite something to watch a dog weave their way in and out of them at high speed. Indie was marking well, his best yet he really is starting to get it all together The first set we had was a dream, nets down, not that many, ferret in and bunny bolted all in a matter of minutes if only they were all so easy :11: after that there were a few digs but at least we were still getting them another for the bunny tree Snowdrops are flowering in the woods The last set we did looked promising, except it was a bit, shall we say, overgrown we didnt bother netting this one :11: Spot Mr K & Ellie :search: they are in there somewhere and another But after that it started to go a bit wrong, unfortunately the next three to bolt were babies I grabbed hold of Sid the next time he surfaced packed him back in his box and we called it a day at that. It looks like spring has arrived early Quote Link to post
