what was the judge like at the national,donny. and in reply to spifff good russells are hard to come by were your from , broaden your horizens go forth and ye shall find, see i like and admire terriers full, stop big and small, i travel and hunt with people all over the uk, and even were you are from spiff, i never judge a terrier cos its smashed or cos it is not marked ,i dont do %, i let the terrier do the talking, i have met men with russel types wich can hold there own with the best , names mean nothing and as i have said before there not in it to get adulation they work terriers ,because they all ways have, i could rattle off at least 6 names of terrier men who digg with russells three of them digg in some of the most unforgiving places in the uk with russells all shapes and sizes,, to pigion hole a type of terrier is ignorance , but then ignorance is bliss some one once said, Russells , Fells, Borders, Xbreds, i like them all ,TERRIER, EARTH DOG, ALL SHAPES COLOURS AND SIZES,

I dont know mate wouldnt go to one of there shows to be honest.As Ive said many times I dont show only the festival of hunting ....BUT I did enter our local one sunday as it was a poor turnout and I won it so now Ill be called out by one or two on here ..However the bitch (border) is a grafter so thats what counts ..I do keep a variety and no two digs are the same, in my job I have to have all types sizes etc .Secret is knowing which one to use and when.
