whats the best slug to put through a theoben evo im currently using air arms diablo field.

I've also got an EVO (177) mate, totally agree with woodga, first choice for me would be the AA field, a couple of others to look at are Bisley LRG and Webley Mosquito Express,

Not had the gun long but have taken rabbits and woodys with head shots, dropping them on the spot ......... no probs at all, also good groupings on the paper

 

Just to add, when i purchased my gun, the shop ( Drapers in Notts ) chronoed it at 11.89, i asked wich pellets they used, answer.... AA FIELD DIABLO, aparrently they are the

'MOST EFFICIENT' there fore giving the highest reading to ensure we stay legal.

Guess i will stick with the air arms then.I recently just bought my evo aswell.Im well impressed with it.The hawke night eye is a good addition too

Use AA Diablo and H&Ns better grouping with nthe H&Ns i find but the AA Diablos are hard hitting. .177 for me Bisleys are hard hitting but to much drop for my liking. FV

put some ftt through it my theoben wont eat nothing else air arms dont work well in mine. plus magnums are okay for short distance
