I suppose different locations, different prices, had been buying it in 7.5kg sacks at £18.00 from a local trading estate pet shop, while at the stables picking up a bale of woodchip, noticed they sold the small bags, on asking was told they sold the BIG bags at £38.00 which are 20kg, so they now have me as a new customer

Apparently its alot cheaper to buy it in bulk, if you have enough mouths to feed. I buy 7.5 kilo bags for around 15 quid but i cant buy the bigger bags because i only have 5

of course you can buy the bigger bag, just put it in an airtight container if your worried about it going stale,

about £70 the lot

 

Mix the lot up in even helpings and air-tight store them in plastic drums.
