The one 8,490
After i fill my air rifle it seems to be off till maybe six shots are fired is that possible ??or just my imagination Quote Link to post
fergie 0
no its very posable your gun may fill from 0-200bar but it will have a sweet spot or an ideal presure most aa410 have one around the 90-190bar mark its nothing to worry about Quote Link to post
Guest rexdigger
are you sure your not overfilling it a bit as that can have that effect aa s410s do that Quote Link to post
SEAN3513 7
iv'e had the same problem.......now i only fill to 190 and its now perfect!! cheers sean Quote Link to post
The one 8,490
Maybe try filling it to 190 ive not had it long enough to find all the ins and outs yet Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
After i fill my air rifle it seems to be off till maybe six shots are fired is that possible ??or just my imagination Commonly OVER filling! Too many people think a little extra pressure will help with power, and/or shots per charge...False! What it will tend to do is give inconsistency of shot and in some cases valve bounce!! The whole internals of PCP's are designed to work within a range, and a lot of people suffer from the same problem as you because they overfill....although many of them never notice! What gun is it??? Many Falcons hate more than 185bar!!! Quote Link to post
wats 0
once filled if ya go over fire 5 to 10 empty shots it will settle to normal pressure Quote Link to post

Grim Reaper 1
My AAS400 is a 190 fill , but i dont fill that much, i only go to about 170 - 175 , it just works for better me .And i dont run it right down either , just keep topping it up as and when i finish shooting Very similar to the way i run Buster, i fill to 180 (my prefered level) and don't need to top up again until i'm around the 110-120 bar mark. Works for me well enough, i have to say. I find this way of filling means that when i'm finished filling, i'm at the top end of my sweet spot, and also for me is the added benefit of being able to shoot right away if i choose to (not that i do that, of course, but the option is there). Although i make it a rule never to shoot unless i have checked zero first. Shoot sure, & shoot safe guys. All the best, Grim. Edited July 30, 2008 by Grim Reaper Quote Link to post
