Guest blackntan
did not know there were any coons in finland Quote Link to post
raippa 0
Yes, We have a lot of raccoondogs, but no raccoons. Raccoondogs are speared from Russia to the Finland in 1950-1960. Quote Link to post
Guest blackntan
do you cut out either side as you sink your shaft and use a plank, we have just got a teleoscopic ladder from a builders yard a nice bit of kit for deep shafts , Quote Link to post
raippa 0
We just climb up, some sets could be very deep here. Deepest set has been 8,3 meter deep ( Bellman & Flint locator) Quote Link to post
Guest blackntan
is the ground frozen and how deep would the frost go, what do you mean by speard from russia Quote Link to post
raippa 0
Yes, in winters our ground is frozen and the frost could be 20 cm- over 1m deep. It depends how cold the temperature has been then. Raccoondogs came here over the russian border in 1950-1960. 8,3 meter was too deep to dig, we just wait that dog came out there. Quote Link to post
