Yes, We have a lot of raccoondogs, but no raccoons. Raccoondogs are speared from Russia to the Finland in 1950-1960.

do you cut out either side as you sink your shaft and use a plank, we have just got a teleoscopic ladder from a builders yard a nice bit of kit for deep shafts ,

We just climb up, some sets could be very deep here. Deepest set has been 8,3 meter deep ( Bellman & Flint locator)

Yes, in winters our ground is frozen and the frost could be 20 cm- over 1m deep. It depends how cold the temperature has been then. Raccoondogs came here over the russian border in 1950-1960.

 

8,3 meter was too deep to dig, we just wait that dog came out there.
