In my expierence ferrets are no natural lovers of water esp young kits, but if introduced gradually they happily approach and mess about in water esp in the hotter weather were having to cool off...Oh and im no anti now im just trying to save you biffing out yer wee stinker and avoid you having it hanging onto your hand Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
Whats the point stressing the kit . Quote Link to post
bandit man 9
had my three in a tub of tepid water a couple of inches they loved it Quote Link to post
skycat 6,173
A ferret needs to be given the choice to go into water: not be put in it. Ours have a heavy ceramic dog bowl in their run: when it's hot they duck under the water sometimes to cool down. Quote Link to post
Guest bigredbusa
ok i will let it die of heatstroke . it wasnt to clever so it had a quick dip , nothing more , you lot go on as tho i had it's head pinned under lol Quote Link to post
sue 1
your better off getting a plant spray bottle and giving them a light mist until they get used to getting wet,the shock of being put in water could have killed it Edited July 28, 2008 by sue Quote Link to post
