If you're seeing " A mouse " then you most likely have MICE. Your kitchen is the last place ye want them. And, all the time you mess around with your " Trap ", they'll be out breeding your catch rate and spreading disease around the place.

Have you no local, preferably sole trader, Professional in your area? He should be able to sort you out for a lot less than the cost of time off work due to getting sick.

I was out with the dogs in a local park and they where showing a lot of intrest in a poly bag ,when i had a look it was a couple of them catch a live traps with mice in them sombody had caught them and hadn't had the heart to kill them .

So going by what i found i'd go for a plastic catch a live trap baited with mars bar

i have a mouse in my kitchen i was just wondering if any one could give any tips on getting the little bugger!!i have atrap down whats a good bait for them besides chesse :whistling:
sqeeze a wee bit of lard onto the pin as the mouse can,t take it of it has to lick it , i had 25 straight kills in my other shed , one every morning , using a little wooden trap with a pan that they had to step on, wiped them out , they were coming from under my neighbours shed , the little bast#rds had chewed a hole in my fishing waders , and were even eating my blocks of white trap wax. now they are all happy up in heaven , where all bad little mice go.

Your need more than one trap thats for sure, Mice dont feed at one place they take small amounts of feed in several areas unlike rats so one trap is not going to be enough as they may steer clear of your trap....

I would get a pestie in and have it dealt with straight off before someone gets ill, the speed at what mice breed is un believable, also give the place a good clean, and check your loft for harbourage as the problem may stem from there :victory:

all of these 25 mice fed at the one trap , hence the death toal , one everyday , i,m the pestie and nobody was ill.

Were not talking about a shed here, I certainly wouldn't leave what possibly could be a mouse infestation for 25 days in my kitchen.......
